About

I am a journalist based in Hong Kong, currently working as Asia Reporter at the South China Morning Post.

Since moving to Hong Kong in late 2020, I have worked with both local and international news organizations, such as SCMP, CNN and NBC News, on a number of breaking news and feature stories from across the Asia-Pacific region. I also worked with Agence France-Presse to cover online misinformation trends in India and Indonesia.

In 2021, I was named a Clare Hollingworth Fellow by the Foreign Correspondent's Club in Hong Kong.

Having grown up in both India and Indonesia, I am able to speak both Hindi and Indonesian. My background has also given me a strong interest and affinity for stories from the South and South-East parts of Asia.

I graduated with a Master's in Journalism from the University of Hong Kong in 2021. Prior to pursuing journalism, I was an English and Communications student at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.
